October GlossyBox

Hello again my sweets,

This is my second to last GlossyBox until I need to decided if I stay with these or change to a different subscription box, so I need your help! What do you guys suggest and which company do you think are the best?

This month the theme was 'Dark Romance' which I think is quite fitting as the days are getting shorted and winter is setting in! I think this winter will be the coldest for me as being a student I doubt I'll be able to afford heating :P

At first glance I wasn't overly pleased with the box this month because I feel once again they have sent me similar products that I have already received before and there isn't the variation I was hoping for :/ however when I read more in the products themselves I thing there are a couple which I might really enjoy :) once again I received a Glossy mag which just has some information about the GlossyBox HQ and some other products! I like this little bonus as it has some good stuff in :)

Broadway Nails - I'm not a massive fan of fake nails as I find them a pain to apply and normally to long that I cant do anything when I'm wearing them! However these are easy apply that you just stick them on and they will last a week! These are also medium length which I think will work well for me :) just a glitter French polish which I think I might try out around Christmas when I want nice nails and not worry about chipping :) - Pack from £7.99

Premae Multi-Vit Serum - I think this might have been the product I was most excited about when I opened the box because I have never used a serum before so thought it would be nice to try one out just also this is aimed at combination skin which mine is :) it says it soothe redness and hydrate skin which is all I want! But also keeps skin matte and shine free :)  you use it before your moisturiser morning and night! - 50ml £22.50

Monu Illuminating Primer - When it comes to primers I have no idea which ones are good and which are rubbish, so hopefully testing out a higher end one compared to some I have used in the past will show me their real power :) this one protects from UV damage and enhances your natural complexion :) you can wear it on its own or under make-up :) - 50ml £24.95

MeMeMe Cherub's Blush - This is a cheek and lip tint which is long lasting and easy to apply :) you can use it to add colour on your cheeks and lips going from day to night :) I like the idea of these but I have used Benefits one before and couldn't get the hang of it! I know people love these and swear by them so I might give it another go and see if I can master the art of liqued blusher :P - Full size £5.50

Katy Perry Killer Queen Fragrance - I love trying new smells and finding new perfumes however the bottle you get for this is enough for one or two wears and I guess you could get these free anyways! They say its a playful fragrance however I don't think with this size bottle you could get a real sense of it! I live so close to Fenwicks I normally pop in and try new smells so I could have just done that for this product! Think I might just pop it in my bag and use it for emergence use :P - 50ml £29.50

So thats it, October box done! Overall I think theres some good stuff but not my favourite box I have received! I'll have to see what November brings and see which company I sign up for in December but if any of you like a different company please let me know :)

Remember to follow me on BloglovinTwitter and Instagram if you've enjoyed :)

Thank you for reading, Bye :)

  1. I was thinking of getting Glossy Boxes but think I'm going to go with Love Me Beauty - you get to chose what box you receive so no risk of getting stuff you don't want.

I love the smell of that Katy Perry perfume, think I'm going to ask for it for christmas!

  2. The blush looks lovely, it can definitely be tricky getting the application just right with liquid blushes though. I think the trick is to apply a small amount & blend super quickly!
